| Little Evil Things will be performed LIVE with the Kansas City Symphony this October 31 (Halloween) and November 1, using a cast of characters to perform the live World Premiere of "The Violin's Curse" ! Get your tickets now!!! Frank is composing a piece for concert wind ensemble for the New Jersey All-State Wind Ensemble, to be performed in February of 2004. Currently titled "Earth Unfolding", it sonically documents the Big Bang through the creation of the Earth, through all the creatures evolving and finally the emergence of man. Frank assisted composer John Ottman with sampling sounds for his upcoming feature film, "Gothica", starring Halle Berry. The Galapagos Suite is now released and shipping. John is also the film editor for the movie. It looks fantastic, and the score is awesome! Frank is slated to compose the music for the children's television series "There's an Artist in Me", produced by Bosustow Media. Frank composed the music for a Guy Vasilovich cartoon called "Schlub", about a boy made from a test-tube! Film Roman is currently shopping it. Frank is orchestrating for composer Larry Groupe on a large scale documentary entitled "Missions". Frank did some pre-record work for the upcoming Disney film "The Alamo", sequencing and arranging some music for the pre-battle scenes. Frank is composing an original score to the short subject film, "Homeland", directed by Anthony St. Martin. Frank is assisting composer George S Clinton on the upcoming "Austin Powers Goldmember" for summer release. Frank is currently orchestrating for composer Larry Groupe on "The Contender", featuring Jeff Bridges, Gary Oldman, Joan Allen and Christian Slater. Due for fall release. Frank just completed orchestrating for the upcoming thriller "Urban Legend 2" for director and composer John Ottman Tracy & Frank recently found a wonderful little area called Kernville, where they got a little place to retreat to and do some white-water rafting, as well as get away from it all. Frank recently arranged string quartet music for the James Cameron IMAX film "Ghosts of the Abyss" Frank assisted composer George S. Clinton on the Christmas film "The Santa Clause 2". Frank completed composing the music to John Swanson's independent horror film, "Unearthly Harvest". It's quite a scare; look for it soon! Frank and Tracy recently returned from a trip to the Galapagos Islands and Frank is currently working on an orchestral suite inspired by the animals of the Galapagos. Frank and Tracy have returned from Moscow, Russia where they recorded one of the new stories in Little Evil Things: Volume III with the 92 piece Moscow Symphony Orchestra. - Tracy & Frank have added their own new "Little Evil Thing", a baby boy born Dec 4, 2001! Charles Stephen Macchia was born at 6 lbs, 10 oz, kicking and screaming, and he's brought us much joy (and taken away much sleep!) Tracy was recently named semi-finalist in the Chesterfield Screenwriter's competition sponsored by Paramount Studios for her screenplay "Blubb". Frank recently composed the score for the short subject fantasy film called "The Boogerman" that will soon be making the rounds of the film festival circuit Frank & Tracy are gearing up for a recording studio remodel including new hardwood floors and lots of new gear for composing and recording crazy new music. Frank orchestrated for composer John Ottman on the summer release film "Eight Legged Freaks", about giant spiders that terrorize a town. |
